Not every plant likes bright sunlight, but these guys like a bit of a tan!
Many indoor plants aren’t able to withstand harsh sunlight. Concerned plant parents may observe that those amigos often turn yellow, have holes in their leaves, or feel a bit dried out. Don’t worry, we’ve picked out plants that thrive in the sun! Take Sunny the Crassula Sunset for example, this amigo can simply chill on the windowsill with the full sun in its bowl. A tip from us: do not put it in front of the window immediately after your purchase. Healthy cultivation is done with moderate light, which means even Sunny has to slowly get used to the sun in all her glory!

Use the plant finderThere is, of course, a subtle art to your plants getting some sun. An amigo placed right in front of a south-facing window will get plenty of direct sunlight - this is most suitable for desert plants! If you prefer your amigo to be a little further from the window or protected by sheer curtains, then you can choose from the majority of green amigos who are their best selves in bright, indirect light!
